Bangkok... I've been there before, but it was so long ago that it was not even recorded among my travel blogs. One of those early day trips when I was in NAS. It was a trip with CN and prob the 1st time with TS + WM. It was a free and easy trip with visits to a couple of temples and shopping (which I was amused by the recycle papers made from elephant poop.
Pre-trip impression:
It was crowded + traffic congestion + air pollution. Still can recall the black smoke that came out from the exhaust pipes of the tuk-tuk.
The visit to temples was vague, though I recalled needing the help of a range to assist me walk down the narrow steps to the temple (unforgettable!)
It was one of those trips that I did no planning at all - but left it to others. Just follow the flow.
In 2025, it's a family trip.
The primary idea is to relax and the unwind... Kai made arrangements for the hotel and 2 days of excursions - with a guide to ourselves. Definitely, leisure! With a guide, we gained a better understanding of the culture... we also got to visit places that we might not have experienced!
Also - it had never closed my mind that I had my blouses tailored in less than 5 days.
They were indeed efficient.
Another highlight - Food! 😋
